As I have previously written before about, the Australian Rules Football commenced in the late 1900s, and grew in strength and popularity until it is now the most popular sport in Australia.
It is one of the things Australians are well known for AFL and Kangaroos (okay there are lots more).
The league now has 18 teams in all Australian states (besides Tasmania), with matches played from Australia to China, it is now has an international fan base.
Each of these teams is part of what is known as the AFL ladder, which lists and ranks the team’s performance and where they now stand in the league.
Here is the current 2017AFL Ladder

The 2017 AFL season
This latest season of the AFL was the 121st edition, with the above eighteen teams competing, these team have competed together for the last five years.
The season started in March and ended with the AFL Grand Final on the 30th September 2017, when Richmond won their 11th premiership against the Adelaide Crows at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
Watching the thrilling Grand Final is as exciting as playing Canadian online slots and it is always well worth the effort! The build up from the start of the season until the nail biter of a final, this year’s AFL was epic.
This win by the Richmond ended a 37 year slump by these former champs, in these years they were notorious for their underperforming, poor draft picks and their bad planning.
This win proved that the changes implemented by club president Peggy O’Neale, who never lost faith in her club even with the dumpster fire of a season Richmond had in 2016.
The captain of Richmond, Trent Cotchin led them to victory with the help of Dustin Martin, who has been on fire this past season.
The 2017 Australian Rules Football season was a thrilling year for players and fans alike, and the 2018 season that starts in a couple of months promises to be another exciting year of football to look forward too.
